Cedar Lane Bulldogs – My Story
The story behind my venture into the world of English bulldog breeding dates back to 1965 when I received my first bulldog puppy from my father-in-law. I eventually bred her, and she became the mother of nine beautiful bulldog puppies. I was obliged to take a break from breeding in the late 1970s and early 1980s due to my work schedule and commitment to raising a family, but began again in 1988 once my children had finished college. I purchased several bitch puppies from excellent bloodlines and built a nice kennel, which allowed me to pick up right where I left off. Since 1990, I have skillfully and lovingly raised 10 homebred champions, earning me a Hall of Fame Breeder title. I also went on to earn my AKC judging license in 1998, which has also given me a newfound respect for the breed.
